PSA for possibly triggering content in the #subversivekawaii tag

so somebody has started tagged only vaguely relevant kawaii graphics as “subversive kawaii.” the blog is “kawaiitentacleporn” and when i visited their blog, i found that they had tagged an image that said “don’t make this rape turn into a murder, bitch” as subversive kawaii. luckily for some reason that particular one didn’t show up in the tag, even tho they tagged it within the first five tags? but they do have a flashing gif that is NOT tagged for epilepsy in the tag and i anticipate that they will continue to tag inappropriate things as subversive kawaii.
please be careful, guys. she doesn’t have an askbox so i can’t inform her that she’s misusing the tag and i’m not sure if she’s going to stop so from here on out we have to be prepared to see untagged flashing gifs and possible triggering content in the tag.
hi !! just a heads up, but maybe instead of "kill yr rapist" stuff you could instead have "kill rapists" or somethin like that because saying "kill YR rapist" is essentially putting pressure on victims of sexual assault which isn't cool !!

IF YOU EVER FIND YOURSELF TYPING THOSE WORDS IN THAT ORDER, JUST BACKSPACE YOUR ENTIRE POST AND BURN YOUR COMPUTER TO THE GROUND.
God I thought I would never see that sentence again after the Syfy forum circa season two. I had convinced myself it was a legend that people ever typed that sentence.
In Psych a lot of girls said that they had been taught to yell “fire” if they were ever being raped because people were much more likely to respond to a fire than to someone being raped. This makes me so unbelievably angry. We’re totally ok with calling the fire department or risking our safety to put out a fire, but it’s too uncomfortable to call the police or try to stop a rape.

The thing is that Stefan’s behaviour is so ridiculously inconsistent throughout the seasons concerning Elena splitting with him or getting together with someone else. Hell, he’s stated in the past that he’d just politely bow out, and he’s accepted her wishes before in canon and followed with no resentment and sincere attempts to distance himself as she wished.
The real problem is that Plec is an incompetent misogynistic fucking piece of excrement and she can’t even begin to write or conceive a consistent narrative.
Sheneedsan objection to the Damon/Elena relationship, because she’s positioned it as something ‘wrong’ with the relationship, how it’s commencing and how it’s being carried out. AND THERE IS SO MUCH WRONG WITH THE RELATIONSHIP. So Caroline and Stefan have to be very loudly against it, because there needs to be opposition to Elena being brainwashed in order for the story to be resolved - Damon has always been happy to rape Elena, he never treats her like anything but an object, Elena is a puppet, and Bonnie isn’t allowed to react to anything Damon does. So it has to be Caroline and Stefan.
But Plec wants that conflictandto play triumphant music over Elena about to get horribly raped and violated. She wants to celebrate it and congratulate and valourize Elena’s rapist. So she can’t say ‘Stefan objects to Elena being raped’ and she can’t say ‘Damon brutally tortured and raped Caroline for weeks and Caroline is horrified by the idea of someone she loves being in a sexual relationship with him.’
It has to be ‘Caroline is bizarrely invested in a love life she’s previously acknowledged as damaging’ and ‘Stefan lashes out against Elena because she slept with someone else’ (while I’m not trying to argue that Stefan is too morally elevated for any such choice, there is a pretty well established pattern of Stefannotspecifically dehumanizing and objectifying her in such a way as to commodify her sexual behaviours and find them immoral and worthy of retribution only when not applied to him.)
If anything he’s in the past been horrifically relaxed when it comes to Damon and Elena, talking about what her interaction or relationship with a man who’s abused, attempted to rape and consistently treated her like a blow-up doll will do for the benefit of said man, and how good that is.
It has to be ‘despite advising her to ditch him last season, Caroline is now fixated on Elena and Stefan dating’ and ‘Stefan energetically tries to reach Damon’s heights of misogyny and as yet fails - but with Plec on his side, we have faith in him yet!’
okay so it’s a truth universally acknowledged that we don’t actually write our best always at 6 am when we’re trying to get something done as fast as possible so um, a rather significantly edited version of what i posted earlier and what i’m probably gonna submit soon, once I’ve had a real chance to properly revise I’ll publish it nice and fancy-like on my writing blog, but feedback is super appreciated etc.~

Here, now, it is Sunday. I sit at the kitchen table, a few minutes after noon, crossed legs covered in sweatpants with the name of my high school that have been through the laundry so many times the interior of the fleece has given up on softness entirely. I nurse a cup of black coffee. The mug reads “HAPPY FATHERS DAY” in bright pink letters painted with my clumsy seven-year-old fingers. The same fingers—although they are not the same fingers, every cell is at most seven years old, I have been two entirely new people since then—run over the letters, the hearts, the flowers, the gouge in the handle that I hadn’t been able to find the shard to fill when I glued it back together, shaking, at age ten, and stuck my fingers together in the process.
I have ever since been distrustful of Krazy Glue. Your machinery is too much for me.
