You know why I need fucking fat acceptance?
Because most of society thinks I deserved the torment and bullying I went through in middle school. Because they think I deserve to cut myself because being fat is deplorable. Because we’ve been taught that it’s deplorable.
I need this shit because to most people only skinny girls should be told to love their bodies and that they are beautiful. Because to most people I am less than dog shit and it’s acceptable to treat me that way.
I really cannot fathom how anyone could be against people being confident. How can you really believe “the larger someones waist; the smaller their value”?
I’ve seen a lot of people use the argument “If you could give any fat person girl a magic pill that would make her thin, she’d take it in a heartbeat.” WELL NO SHIT SHERLOCK! Who wouldn’t want something that would help make the harassment go away!? Who wouldn’t want something to make the comments stop, the shaming stop? I know it’s a popular opinion to think so, but losing weight is NOT fucking easy. I’ve known A LOT of people who have never been able to lost more than a few pounds no matter how much they starve, diet, exercise, etc. It is MORE THAN POSSIBLE to fat and healthy. I hope eventually people realize this so that fat people can stop being treated like shit.
I don’t see how Julia Gillard raising abortion as an election issue and saying “we don’t want to live in an Australia where abortion again becomes the political plaything of men who think they know better” is evidence of her wanting to start a “gender war.” I am opposed to the media labelling her call for women to have a greater role in deciding on issues regarding THEIR healthcare as some kind of gender warfare. Her words simply highlight the fact that women have been marginalised from decision-making. But instead of addressing that issue (which is a big issue) the media has chosen to frame her words as some kind of antagonistic war cry and news outlets continue to stoke the fire of opposition. It’s only fuelling more sexism. Case in point:
Labour is considering dropping Gillard as leader because they are apparently “losing the support of male voters.”
This sexism really needs to be addressed.
Just as Gillard said: “women’s equality has always been hard-fought for, and we’re entering a hard fight again.”

Don’t tell other soon to be moms or recent moms that their partner is going to end up leaving them because YOU DON’T KNOW THAT. Just because yours did or some people that you know did, doesn’t mean everyone is going to.

I need to clarify, this isn’t a person who is looking to convert. They consider themselves trans-racial this way (not that Jews are race…) and trans religious.
They’ve even made up grandparents to die in the Holocaust. Like, not real ones. It’s part of their trans religious identity.

This honestly angers me to the point I want to slap some idiots. So what if a person has skill and writes multi-paragraph Rp’s, that’s no excuse to say they’re to good to be Rp’d with, I don’t get it, they’re here to have fun just like the rest of us yet they’re left alone for the soul fact they have talent as a writer or play their character well. Sure I get shy but I’ll try and Role play with ANYONE that comes my way as I want to be fair. I have my guidelines, yes but that’s only because I want the same back as I’m givin’ or at least try. I know a few that I love to Role play with but they barely get any attention from a lot of others because they’re considered to ‘intimidating’ even though they’re the most friendliest people I’ve met and come to care about deeply. Hell even I get told that sometimes or I’m just bein’ fucked with but regardless I still am a very nice person despite my muse bein’ a dick sometimes but he’s still willin’ to meet new people or the same muse he may already know from another character, regardless I welcome them along with OC’s, I can’t be told I don’t accept OC’s because I HAVE ONE and it’s taken me over a year to get her situated for me to use her in terms of Role play and I still would like to use her here. (I do but she doesn’t get much attention.) It honestly never has come to my mind to say that someone isn’t welcome because they have skill and they want to have fun like the rest of us. People may not say it but it sure as hell seems that way because they don’t get any attention at all and it honestly makes me sad because that’s when some of the best muses are put on Hiatus because they don’t ever get anything and the muns feel like they’re just wasting their time with this. I want this to fuckin’ stop and them to be loved as well. They deserve it and and deserve to have a chance to interact with others. Notin’ says it has to be their length, they honestly couldn’t care if it was 5+paragraphs or 1-2paragraphs just as long as they’re able to have fun. You know this isn’t fair to them. These are good people, don’t shove them away because you think they’re way out of your league, at least try.
There’s this one person on here who’s gotten “tumblr famous” sort of recently I guess but I can’t understand why people follow her? She ships two or three of the most popular pairings in the fandom but all I ever see her do is either spread false information about one or bash all the rival ships to the others?
Like really? If you’ve got such a big browsing audience, at least be a good example to the younger/newer members of the fandom.
I don’t care what you ship or how quality your blog is, if you’re a fucking bitch to people who don’t ship what you ship you can consider yourself unfollowed.

My niece Shannon is almost 13. She has been posting on Facebook for weeks saying she wants to do this ‘Hot or Not’ video. I had no clue what this was until tonight. She over a friends house. And basically they went through a giant list of people in her year at school.. and then after each name is read out her and her friend say whether they think this person is ‘Hot or Not’… As soon as I realised what it was my first reaction was ‘Are you fucking kidding me?’
Since it was uploaded an hour ago, they posted status’ saying they’ve had to delete the video because people were upset and ranting about the content.
Hardly Surprising no?.. IDK about you guys but There is no way I would let my girls post something like that online? Telling your entire friends list who you think is hot or not, cool or not?
Isn’t that just some kind of bullying behaviour? I’m not surprised in the least that her mother is baffled by the reaction but her father, my brother..IDK.. I would have had her taking that video down, and be marching her home from her friends house if that were my daughter.
But it isn’t.. and I’m passively aggressively ranting about it here instead.

Right, so since the ending of Vampire Knight I have seen a lot of fans saying that Vampire Knight was the story of Kaname and Yuuki’s tragic love. I wasn’t really going to post anything else on the ending of VK but I’m really tired of a lot of shit being said. This isn’t aimed at anyone in particular but there really have been quite a number of people saying this since it ended so here we go. Enjoy my rant. There will be pairing bias I suppose.
Firstly, Vampire Knight was never classified as a “tragic romance”, it’s genre is romance – yes however the tragic aspect is something that has been going throughout the whole series. Why tragic? Shall we go from the beginning?
