Todays Random act of kindness
Someone strapped for cash…
Lights shut off…
Lending them the money to get lights turned back on until they get paid.
Someone helped me purchase my first car by loaning me $1000.00 for the down payment.
They barely knew me. A friend of a friend kind of thing.
The only catch…
Pay it forward when I became financially stable.
I’ve never forgotten that person or the lesson.
And when I’ve payed it forward, it has never failed to return to me exponentially in a variety of ways.
Saturday Six...or whatever
Woke up wide awake at 2 so I knew it was Saturday, I hate that I can’t sleep in on the weekends.
Talked to Reece yesterday afternoon, like all of us with kids we all wanted to talk and hold them a little bit more because of the tragedy yesterday. I wish i could of given him a hug but we did have a good talk. Talked about Christmas break and he seems excited about seeing me and hanging out. This year I am picking him up so we will get some time to talk on the car ride back. we will be stopping in Memphis on the way back to see Mel and her daughters (I’m excited for this).
Got some new Zealous bearings this week so I will be changing out bearings on some wheels, I can’t wait to test them out this afternoon on the Chubby Unicorn.
Christmas shopping is done but I will be heading to the mall, there is one or two more things I might want to get for a certain someone. I am excited for her to open her gifts, I hope I did okay.
Birthday is coming up in two weeks…46!!!
When your out and about today do a random act of kindness for someone, it’ll brighten there day and yours.
