Sign upDo "soul mates" exist?
I like to think so, but not explicitly soul mates. I like to adhere to the belief that there could be a sort of cosmic energy that attracts and repels individuals or “souls” at any given time. Let’s call it a soul bond. It may not be exclusive to love though, but just extended to kindred, or attractive (in the form of magnetization) people. This, in my opinion, can coalesce in a spiritual or experiential form depending on the way you look at it. I imagine that if reincarnation were to exist, than this “queue” of bodies to souls would end up reincarnating people of certain time periods at relatively the same time… It’s kooky I know, but somehow I think this would be increasingly apparent with lets say…Cole and I’s reincarnated form. Since there is obviously no way to test spirituality procedurally, this is very clearly faithful hypothesis, but I imagine Cole and I’s spirits (now having been linked so strongly in this life) would inevitably find our way back to each other in the next to assume a role similar or exactly like our current lives.
I also contribute this very thought to the resurgence of pagan and heathen beliefs and spiritualities. This likely means that “Ragnarok” has just ended and the kin are placed back to Midgard to prepare once again for coming fight with their “genetic affinity” for heathenry well in tow.
Ever notice how you know when someone across the room is staring at you, and at that moment you look right back at them subconsciously? I think that that is an example of this spirit bond at work, and it is usually less of a coincidence than most choose to believe. Always take time to talk to the people across the room!
