Pros and Cons of Navratri
Pros:
- Meeting awesome people. (And sometimes creeping on not so awesome people)
- Doing garba and raas until the early morning.
- Learning cool new steps to use next year or elsewhere.
- Taking pictures of yourself and your friends together looking traditional and fly as hell.
- Having the time of your life.
Cons:
- It ends
- Why does it have to end?!
- I don’t want it to ever end.

The word “Raas” comes from Sanskrit word “Ras”. The origins of Raas can be traced to ancient times. Lord Krishna performed Rasa lila” (Lila means Lord Krishna’s playful dance. The word “Lila” also refers to things that God does that we do not fully understand).
