A Very Important Day || Faberry

Quinn and I seemed to alternate peaceful days and rough nights with rough days and peaceful nights. Yesterday was like that, started rough and ended up as peaceful and full of love as possible. I set the alarm and when it went off, I growled not wanting to get up, but remembering that I could go back to sleep after everyone was gone. I saw Elphy on her little bed and that made me smile, our house looked like a family house now. “Babe… It’s time to wake up. Rise and shine Mrs. Berry!” I whisper in her ear before kissing her cheek.

Feels good to be back and learning again

But it looks like I have a lot of catching up to do; with both homework and people.

Moving Forward, Moving Out.

It had been about an hour or so since she and Rachel had arrived at the apartment that Quinn was no longer going to be occupying, packing up the things that she would be taking home with her while leaving enough for the space to be functional in case they – or someone else – needed a place to stay away from the insanity. It wasn’t an entirely huge job to do, but the blonde had decided that morning that she actually wanted to sort through her stuff that she had brought back to the city with her and get rid of some of the things she wouldn’t need or didn’t want. It was a process much longer than she could have expected, and about halfway through her far too large collection of clothes she had gotten tired and decided to grab some water and take a small break.

Walking out to the kitchen, she grabbed a glass from one of the cupboards that was now about half-empty and filled it with some water from the fridge, humming when she brought it to her lips and took a long sip of it. Her eyes darted around the room after, spotting Rachel just a few feet away working on something that she couldn’t quite make out, just watching her for a few long moments. There was no longer a longing whenever she looked at her wife, no ache in her chest from knowing that she couldn’t have the other woman because she had hurt her so badly, and it was entirely strange in the best way to simply feel her heart swell with love and happiness when she looked over at the brunette, once more. Setting her glass down on the counter to be retrieved later, the blonde made her way over to the singer and moved to sit behind her, allowing her to wrap her arms around Rachel’s small frame and kiss along her shoulder.

A really romantic night || Quory

Rory was excited for tonight, he would take Quinn on a very romantic place, he had an apartment that he didn’t use but it had a beautiful garden on the roof, he had worked in the garden for a long time, he gave the name of Quinn to that garden, he intended to take her to this garden and make a picnic with her, the moon was beautiful, and the sky full of stars, this building was really loud, and when was on the roof you could see the entire moon, was very beautiful, Rory was with a little cold, but he didn’t say that to Quinn because he didn’t want to spoil the evening. Rory left the hospital and went home, he went into the house and called Quinn’s name “Quinn! Honey! Are ya here?” he asked and waited for her answer.

A Surprise Visit || Faberry

Rachel had left home relatively early that morning, needing to be at the theater for a video tour of their dressing rooms for a Broadway website. She and Jon both gave tours of the backstage area, a walk through their daily routines and Rachel took the time to show off the plethora of pictures of Quinn and Santana, her fiances. She was sure that by the end of the interview the audience would have no doubts about her engagement and she liked it that way.

But now, she only had a little bit of time to kill before she needed to be on stage and she really didn’t want to get back out in the cold to head home for just an hour. So, she pulled out her laptop, flipping through netflix before finally settling on one of the cheesiest medical dramas in the world. She’d been casually texting Santana and Quinn all day, enjoying the effortless conversation from her busy girls.

A knock on the door caught her by surprise and the door opened to reveal the gorgeous blonde. She immediately closed her laptop, tossing it to the other cushion on the couch and jumped up from her spot to envelope Quinn in a hug.

Train Rides To Somewhere New

When enough time had passed for Quinn to know Rachel was on her way in the taxi, the blonde got up from her table in the corner of the library and began to make her way through – armed with her cellphone, just in case Rachel needed directions, and the money that she would need to pay for the singer’s cab over to the library. Her eyes darted around her as she walked, wondering just how many books she could read in the time it took her to make her way through her schooling, and ended up smiling at the thought. Just being there made her happy, and though she almost wanted to go party and get to know her new friends better, she knew it was better for her sanity if she just didn’t get into the alcohol. She stopped at the vending machines and ended up buying two questionable looking blueberry muffins for the sake of it and then made her way out to the front steps to watch for Rachel’s taxi, smiling all the while to herself as she tried to contain the odd feeling of excitement over seeing her high school friend.

I'm bored already!

It’s hard laying in bed for days on end when your so used to being up and around. Thankfully Beth and Shelby will be over in a bit to visit and Puck is here to keep me company.

Back to Haven

Puck felt like the train ride was going to take forever. It was the same feeling he’s been having ever since Quinn left his place after their fight/make up whatever you’d call it, and he didn’t like how the whole thing was going down. He had a tendency to fall in love pretty fast since he admitted it to her the first time, whether that be to much older women or real ugly women - but it all ended up the same, getting his ass dumped.

He had to try and be careful this time, especially with her and their complicated past. They were both going out on a limb here to date again - differently this time (As if the first wasn’t different enough).

He sends her a text indicating that he’s on the train and will be up in half an hour give or take the conditions of the track, and it leaves him sitting there playing around on his cell to keep occupied on the remainder of his journey to New Haven.

Good Morning!

I had a very very good morning. I got to wake up in Puck’s arms just like I like it.

Days from a Getaway

Quinn double checks the information on the screen before clicking the confirm button. Two airline tickets bought for Friday and set for a Monday return. She sends the confirmation and the tickets to her phone before shutting her laptop and placing it aside. With a slight yawn from hunger, she gets up from the couch and heads to the kitchen in search of something to eat.

She’s been here since Saturday and they have yet to go grocery shopping. It’s been easier to have Puck pick something up on his way home from work, or for Quinn to step out and grab a quick bite herself. She finds some cereal and opts for it dry, heading back to the living room to sit and wait. He should be home soon, if the last few days were the same.

She probably should have run the trip by him again. Unsure of whether or not he had gotten cleared for the weekend, she still used her family’s airline miles and bought his ticket, too. There was no way she would allow him to pay for it, especially not when she had been the one to inadvertently rope him into all of this. Thinking about it now, getting away from New York for Mother’s Day will be better.

If he’s not home soon, she might step out herself while she waits. There’s something unsatisfying about dry cereal for dinner.

The kitties chose the worst times to be hyper.

Really, guys? You chasing Beth’s feet around the bed as I’m trying to get her to sleep on a school night is not helping.

Stay | Rachel&Quinn

New Haven

This was probably a bad idea, like a real bad idea. Yet here Puck was sitting on the train up to New Haven to meet up with the girl he hadn’t been able to get off his mind since first bumping into her last week. Everything that led to this point began with that stupid kiss after their argument. He should have just let her go, let her leave like she’s done before but something stopped him from that and it pretty much fucked everything up.

He was confused to say the least, pretty much over everything. What she said during that drunk call, what was said over texts the next day. Every time he’d thought he’d managed to get over everything somehow she’d managed to slip back into his life in one way or another. Whether it involved Beth coming back, or trying to graduate.

He’d sent her the text he was o

4 more days then I'm freee!!!!!!

Oh yeahhh

Mother's Day

Quinn smoothes out her dress one last time before fixing her hair. She can feel the impending doom coming about this afternoon. She just knows it. Last time she had a boyfriend over for a meal, he ended up playing a song for her parents and revealing her pregnancy. Granted, Puck isn’t as dimwitted as Finn (nor would he think that a ballad would be an appropriate choice to reveal such big news) but still. Her boyfriend and family meals still left a weird taste in her mouth.

She had hoped Puck had plans for the day. Plans with his mother and sister. And yet, the two mothers had already planned this day before their arrival. How close of friends were these two women, and why hadn’t Puck or Quinn been informed? It’s a question to have over their dinner today. If nothing bad happens. She still has to make a trip to the pharmacy tomorrow, and she has a feeling that conversation won’t go over too well with her mother.

From downstairs, Quinn hears her mother calling up to her. Puck and his mom are pulling up the driveway. Well, it’s now or never. It’s not like they were getting married, and the worst had already happened. How bad could dinner with his mother be?
