I have no more excuse really to sing for people and that makes me sad. It’s really obvious here that I haven’t really sung in a while. So keep me singing, peeps! :D
Road Trip 2013 (San Jose)
Well I just got back from a road trip with my buddies Shannon, Wesley and Kassia.
We went to San Jose to see the musical Next to Normal. We also got to visit with Wesley’s friend Kirstin (she was really awesome and adorable).
San Jose was awesome, I haven’t been there in yrs. It was our first time actually seeing a performance of NtN. I mean we know all the songs, characters etc by heart we had just never seen a performance. All the performers were fabulous! It was so much more powerful seeing it live and I cried like a baby lol.
For some reason we were the youngest ppl in the audience. It was nothing but older ppl attending, like senior citizens. We got to explore down town San Jose and we stayed at the Saint Clare Hotel (which was gorgeous and had old world charm).
A lot of shenanigans ensued like Shannon almost hitting Johnathan Shew (the actor who played Gabe in NtN) in the face while we were dancing and singing, me getting offered a job by some random guy, lots of in character jokes and of course tons of singing.
Wesley’s best friend (Matt) lives in Santa Cruz, which is just a short drive up the hwy. So on Sunday morning we checked out of the hotel and went to visit him. Santa Cruz is gorgeous! We grabbed some coffee and baked goods then went to the beach. I got to play in the sand….not sure what everyone else did during that time but I’m sure they had fun lol.
Then we grabbed some dinner at the awesome vegan restaurant called Saturn Cafe. Everything was delicious and we got to meet Kassia’s friends.
My back started really hurting Sat morning and it still currently hurts. Luckily Shannon gave me lots of back rubs and helped me through it. Have I mentioned I have an awesome best friend?
So yeah this weekend was fabulous and I’m so glad my friends let me join them. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and now it’s time to get back to reality lol.
PASHA. I HAVE A RUN-ON SENTENCE.
I had the best/worst dream, about an AU in which WWII never happened, and Max grew up to be an actor, and married Magda and they had Anya and went to America (where Pietro and Wanda were later born), and Max got drunk and had a one-night-stand affair with his friend/co-star Susana Dane, and Lorna was born, but Susanna died and Magda took in Lorna like she was her own daughter, even though she hadn’t forgiven Max for cheating on her, and he spent the entire dream being miserable and trying to figure out how to be forgiven, and then there was this scene where he asked why she stayed with him and why she took in Lorna, and she explained that she stayed because he was her husband, and she didn’t want their children to have a broken home, and Lorna’s origins weren’t her fault, and as far as Magda was concerned, Lorna was just as much her child as Wanda, Pietro and Anya were.
And I just remember him asking, ‘will you ever forgive me?’ and her reply was, ‘I don’t know. But I’m going to keep trying, for them.’
And my heart is broken, and Magneto muses’ heart is broken, and -weeps-

A Dream That You Wish (Will Come True)
