Felted Wool Patchwork Throw - The Purl Bee

Let’s talk about this throw. Like how lovely it is, and how much it reminds me of fall.
It’s felt, it’s got to be warm, it has a gorgeous homemade-lookin’, patchworky-lovin’ feel about it.
I love love love love love it.

You know what I DON’T love? The Purl Bee’s prices. This project “requires” eight bundles of Mary Flanagan Textured Felted Wool. Each of those bundles is about $30, and I’m not even considering shipping here, people.
That puts this project somewhere between $240 and oh, maybe about $1,000,000. I’m a hard-workin lady and all. I have 2 1/2 jobs (I count my freelance waitressing as a half, since I only do that when I pick up a phonecall, which is only when I’m broke). But seriously … I’m sure I can find some lovely, LOVELY material that costs FAR less.
In fact, I’m pretty sure I have some at my house, right now. Just not felt. Or Textured.
Wahhhhhhh!
