Uhm.
TBH I don’t see the appeal at all because 1) love/hate relationships, which is what the fandom basically made the ship to be, are not my cup of tea. and 2) I don’t care much for Zuko nor Katara. They’re okay, and I appreciate their character development and their contribution to Aang’s character development but..yeah..that’s p. much it re:my interest towards them.
Like, most people ship it because omg Zuko is so hot and Katara and him had their ~*moments*~ by which I mean having her tied up and threatening her and what not. Also the whole tension between them when Zuzu joined the gaang. (Because dead threats are omg sexual tension when Katara genuinely meant what she said about him hurting Aang)
I think it was the very fandom that made me dislike it. Mainly because people were apparently unable to like their ship without bashing the shit out of Aang or Mai.
And then writing essays on how superior the ship was and how Bryke were dumbasses and the worst human beings for not making their ship canon
And nope.

And yeah, otherwise I’m fine with it?
I mean, if they didn’t have their respective loved ones, I’d possibly ship it, because by the end of the series they seem to have an understanding and a bonding that was really well handled, imo.
