RECOMMENDED: Cortège, an exhibition of new work by Allyson Vieira, is currently on view at Laurel Gitlen (122 Norfolk Street, NYC) through March 24th. Viera’s work questions the sculptural legacy of materials, forms, and motifs through successions of societies.
Allyson Vieira lives and works in New York. She currently has two public commissions on view in New York: as part of the High Line’s exhibition Lilliput and the Public Art Fund’s Configurations at MetroTech Center Commons. Vieira will also be the subject of a forthcoming solo exhibition at the Kunsthalle Basel in September 2013.
