!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m crying, I’m over joyed, I’m blessed, I’m overwhelmed, excited, loved and completely unsure of how I’m supposed to post this so I’ll try my best.

As you all know, I’m China bound for a mission trip this coming Monday. Over the last few days, I’ve been stressing with how $1,608 dollars was going to come up in just a matter of days. I knew that God was going to provide but it became all too stressful when I was constantly doing the calculations in my head. I cried, I almost lost faith and was drafting up apology letters in my head to family and friends that had already given me money for this trip.

But with prayer from you guys, my family and church family and small groups, God has kept his promise.

As of Wednesday, I owed $1,608 dollars. Thursday, mom sent in $100, my grandmother gave $100, my high-school band dad gave $100 on behalf of him and his kids (who I’m close with.), my aunt’s best friend sent in $100, my 12 step group leader sent in $20, and the lovely Allison sent in $15 (i lovelovelovelovelove you). I also received $50 from my second mother and $20 from a lady in my group (I adore her.)

Now I know you are thinking, “you received $505 dollars”. Very true, my friends.

But a couple hours ago, Josh (he’s over our mission’s finances) called me up. This is kind of how the conversation went:

Josh: Hey Brittney, this is Josh W____n from Victory World Church, how are you?

Me: I’m good, how are you.

Josh: Great, I just wanted to call and catch you up on your account. And I have good news and bad news. Which one you want first?

Me: Ugh, just give me the bad news first dude.

*yes i said dude*

Josh: Well the bad news is, you still owe.

Me: Fabulous. So what’s the good news?

Josh: I just received a call from an anonymous donor saying that they are writing you a check for $1,100 dollars.

Me: (screaming) ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING MEEEEE??!??!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!??!?!

To conclude this conversation, I spent a good several seconds screaming in the poor man’s ear. Until we said goodbye.

God provides. God keeps his promises. We as humans are always relying on what is in front of us, but if you trust in God, he will provide. Just a small amount of faith is enough, He knows you are anxious and in a panic, but he WILL give you a calm spirit. Rely on THAT.

Thank you all for your prayers, they gave me strength in all this. I wish I could give you a huge hug and something from China, but all I will mostly have are pictures. If you’d like a picture, I can probably send one to you.
