Anonymous asked: I noticed on the blogs you followed there was ancientpeoples, offers information from Ancient History (3000 BC - AD 500). Most history blogs I’ve found either focus on Ancient History or Modern History (AD 1500 - present), which leaves the period between the fall of the Roman empire and the rise of the Renaissance without much of anything. Do you know of any blogs that covers the Dark Ages (Not necessarily exclusively in Europe)? Thanks!

Prosaic Magazine is an alternative art and culture magazine that initially started in 2005 with the aim of documenting local artists alongside international artists. The magazine has so far produced 8 issues, mostly black and white, photocopied and silk screened publications.

From March 2014, Prosaic will be relaunching as a paying quarterly literary and arts magazine that aims to showcase Artists, Poets, Writers and Photographers from all over the world.

I want everyone to know that I hate this “white privilege” movement, because it is degrading to my non white peers.

YOU have a voice that can’t be silenced. YOU have the potential to do what you’re passionate about. YOU have the strength to stand higher social structure.

I have always seen more culture & beauty in the non white races. Don’t ever depend on a white person to stand up for you. Don’t ponder the thought that they have more than you. Be the change you wish to see in this world. Prove that the racial slurs have no effect on your life. Use their ignorance as your motivation.
