The Pretty Little Liarspowers that be love to tease us with cryptic clues, and now they’ve taken things to the next level by releasing a spoiler-y twitpic. We’re suckers for any opportunity to speculate about what’s in store next season, so it’s time to put on your mystery-solving headbands and get to work!

Check out this blurry on-set pic, courtesy ofPLL editor, Lois Blumenthal. From the length and color of hair, the girl in this shot has to be one of three people: Spencer(Troian Bellisario),Jenna (Tammin Sursok) or Aria (Lucy Hale). Jenna almost never wears her hair curly, whereas Spencer always rocks voluminous, loose waves. Then again, Spencer would never wear blue nail polish, so we’re going to assume this is a photo of Aria!

But what is she holding? It could be a note, it could be a candy wrapper, or it could be something far more sinister. We can’t wait to find out whenPLL returns in January!
