What a badass… -
Today I was contacted by one of the directors from Organizing for America in Colorado. After our interview, he asked if I would be interested in moving to Colorado for the next six weeks as an unpaid intern. Since I need to be in Chicago to look for full time employment, its not an option. What is frustrating is that they are conducting training sessions for volunteers here in Chicago right now. I don’t understand why I wasn’t invited to that instead. I guess I will just do some phone banking for the campaign this year.

The DNC
I just my chose my assignments, as a volunteer, for the Democratic National Convention in my hometown of Charlotte, NC. I’m so excited to see my fellow brothers and sisters in my city, for my President! I’m going to be tired that week, but I will be smiling the whole time!
