I started my new job yesterday (one of my summer goals! to start working somewhere new!). Within two hours I was given a huge project where I only understood about half of what was said to me (haha). 

What a difference from my old job! Here I have so much responsibility right off the bat, and I’m not doing mundane things…I’m actually working, doing something that’s going to improve the company. I love it. 

I’m so impressed with how much trust was placed into me so quickly too! For all my employer could know, I know nothing about what I’m doing and could have really poor taste…instead, I’m making the entire presentation for a big-time competitor to partner with us…whattttt???

But I got it completed today and turned it in before I got off, and they already enjoyed it from what they’ve seen. I can’t even begin to explain how much I’ve learned in the past two days. And how much I’ve used from my classes at school…one’s I didn’t even expect to use! Like Asian religion and Sociology! Whaaaaaaa?? Lol…it’s awesome and it makes me sound like I pay attention to the world around me…which I like because I do! ;) 

I like when people notice what I believe are my strengths. I like it when they notice, point it out, and praise me for it. It happened a few days ago too with a new person I was talking to…how easy I was to talk to when we barely knew each other. Be the person you want to meet. Be so happy others look at you and wish to be happy too. Take a place wherever you are and be somebody.

                    Be somebody. 

I’m already sent on a business trip Friday to the big meeting where my work will be presented. So awesome I’m excited! And so ahead of my time…who gets these kinds of opportunities all the time!? :) Me. 

Before I start presenting as a male I need:
A shit ton of vests and bow ties
Also suspenders. That needs to happen
The one thing I’m worried about. Pants. All my jeans are form fitting. I guess I’ll look around some more.
