Yes. Blogs that post pictures or texts about their cuts, scars, disorder, depression etc. are being shut down.
This is an outrage. Please show you care by liking or reblogging this.
Tumblr helps people. Saves lives. Gives people support in their chaotic and intimidating world.
Tumblr is an outlet and a way to heal and to relieve stress.
Deleting blogs due to their depression, cuts, (etc) is NOT okay.
Why I don't enjoy Doctor Who as much as I used to.
I’ve been meaning to write this for a long while and tonight it happened.
It’s long so it’s under a read more. I’d really love to hear you guys’ opinions so don’t hesitate to reply or send me an ask.
The story of my love/hate relationship with Doctor Who.
This is Sarah.
You may know her better as Scarvenrot, creator of the wildly popular Homestuck fan adventure Guidestuck.
Yeah, something like that.
Anyway, you’re probably wondering why I used a sad photo of her for this post. See, she hasn’t really been feeling too good recently. She is getting really stressed out and depressed at a lot of things, and has consequentially taken a hiatus from Guidestuck while she sorts some things out.
Now, this sounds perfectly reasonable, am I right? Unfortunately, there are some mean people out there who have been spamming her with hatred, saying that she is a shitty person for not updating, and claiming that she is faking her depression and is being an asshole for standing up to her detractors. They say she shouldn’t be allowed to take some time for herself, that she should’ve completely devoted to her fans, even to her own detriment.
These things are not true, not in the slightest.
She has been getting exceedingly more agitated as of late, and I fear it may be taking a toll on her that is too much for her to bear. So I would implore you, even if you haven’t heard of her or Guidestuck before, to send her a kind word. Just a friendly hello, a reminder that she is appreciated for all she does, and that she can do whatever she wants, haters be damned.
Sarah, if you read this, rest assured that we all don’t hate you. I’m sure that you can muscle through, and you will come out stronger for it. Keep up the good fight, and I hope you feel better as soon as possible

Okay, looks like we’ve got a bit of a problem.
A good friend of mine, Liz, pretty much is going to end up homeless at the end of the month, with nowhere else to go. She lives with her brother (who suffers from Dyslexia, chronic OCD, ADHD, and a Learning Disability that leaves him at about a 3rd grade reading level and it’s very hard for him to find work) and her mom, and they can’t afford the rent.
Liz is a very, very sweet girl and I really don’t want to think about her ending up on the streets in the winter months.
They haven’t quite been able to get back on their feet since her dad, who didn’t have life insurance, died back in November.
They’ve been left with pretty much nothing to their name and they’re struggling to get by as it is. They’ve got a cat and they’ll have to get rid of the poor thing after this last bag of food is used up and.. well, that sucks.
SO.
What we’ve decided to do - by we, I mean myself, Koorii, Specs, and Ash, is take up commissions to try and help her get by. We don’t know how much we’re going to make but we figure that every little bit helps and if we can help our friend get out of this bind, then.. well, the work is worth it.

She’ll do bigger commissions, too, and those run anywhere from $25-$60 and will be backlisted until after the sketch commissions are over. Money will have to be paid up front for bigger commissions because we’re in a rush.

was not actually WELCOME to many of the gay liberation front spaces. and yet, she held them down. like hella gay/lesbians tried to constantly invalidate sylvia’s experience and sylvia always held her own. i’m too lazy to go grab my book and bring ya’ll the actual quotes but sylvia would always say “i’m a man who likes to wear women’s clothes” .
