They try taking him to the animal clinic first. Even with Deaton gone on another of his mysterious “errands” with Ms. Morrell, Scott still has his own key, and so they all bustle in the back door, Scott carefully holding the door open for their final group member.
Derek pads in silently, his hilariously bushy tail sticking out at angle behind him, radiating disdain. They have to let him walk everywhere himself – he’s made it clear that he refuses to be held. Or petted. Or cuddled. (Erica tried.)
