PLEASE HELP ME SAVE KING

Once in awhile I meet a dog who steals my heart and today, I met one of those dogs.

King is a 2 1/2 year old pitbull who is up for adoption at the NYCACC. He looks like a canine god with his piercing grey/blue eyes and dark metallic like coat. He has such an unbelievably gentle soul.

He never pulled once on his leash, never jumped up at another dog, and listened to every command. When I’d squat down near him, he’d nuzzle his head into my lap and snuggle up against my chest. He’s currently heading into isolation for what I believe may be a cold. There should be no reason he should be left in a cage all day. He should be with a loving family somewhere being happy and running around. 

I would love to work with a foster family to help pull and rescue him. I can’t foster him but I promise to be diligent in helping him find a home if ANYONE can help me with him in the NYC area.
