On Monday I will be a Full Time Employee (Benefits and what not).
First thing that came to mind after I found out: “This is not how I pictured it.”
This phrase has applied to so many “encounters” (yeah those), transitions and phases up to this point but I have to say, since I graduated (college) I find myself saying this less and less because I realize that it wasn’t just a saying I threw around, it was becoming a mentality.
If something wasn’t how I pictured it, I would automatically think it was negative or say the experience wasn’t worth it. At this point, I’m 23 years young and I’m finally seeing that just because something doesn’t match the picture is not the end of the world.
I have to consider the source, in this case other people. Comparing myself to other people will only lead me to the grave early (kill myself or the perceived competition..eh). The only source I’ve known that I SHOULD be worried if my life isn’t reflecting it is the Bible. WORD life yo.
That being said, I’m going to be positive to the point of annoyance into the near future.

REACH Access flosser.
Recently a patient said they were having trouble finding the REACH Access flosser and the refills. I found them at Target, Marlboro; just down the street from the office.
Great tool. I used to have a sample in my drawer at the office, but it seems to have disappeared. One is pictured here.
