Photo Competition Results (Surprise Result)
Last night was the night where they announced the results for the open photo competition at the camera club I have recently started attending (4 weeks to be precise). We had to enter 6 photos of any category 2 weeks ago and they were to judged independantly at last nights meet-up.
The judge had critisisms for some of my photos, some of which I agreed with some of which I didn’t, especially when he said that the tassles of a Queens guard helmet shouldn’t be there and it would be better if they were not?!? Excuse me mister Horse Guard do you mind if I cut your tassles off your helmet?
Anyway he kept 2 of them back for final review. I am pleased to say the two he kept back ended up finishing in both 1st and 2nd place. I felt a bit awkward considering I had only been at the club for four weeks but I was chuffed to see my photos ranked highly.
