PERTH AMBOY — City police today issued a plea for the public’s help in finding a 22-year-old Perth Amboy man who has been missing for five months.
Jesus Colon, 22, was last seen in April near the Harbor Terrace housing complex.
Colon is an Caucasian man, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with a thin build.
Police are asking anyone with information about Colon to call Detective DeJesus at (732) 342-3822, or the Perth Amboy Police Department’s main number at (732) 442-4400.
This is my cousin, Jesus. We call him Giovanni or Govi, cause as a kid he didn’t like being called Jesus. He is the one I pray for every night because though he hasn’t been seen in five months, the family hasn’t seen him in over a year, some more than that. Please, pass this around and maybe somebody somewhere will have seen him.

first day of my Perth Amboy vacation...
-awake at 6am because of my auntie coming in to take my brother, sister in law and nephew to the airport. loudly.
- drinking soda at 730am because im sure i wont be going back to sleep anytime soon, so might as well get a headstart
- Christmas is gonna kinda suck because there wont be anything to do.
- i have to wait forever for my laptop [december 30th]
- ending the year, once agian, single.
…but i do have a car to drive with a full tank, $110 bucks and beer. i guess thats okay?
