What I just realized about re-posters etc.
Nowadays, the number of re-posters is decreasing. But instead, the number of people who promote themselves on edits/photos/etc. made by others increases. And in my opinion it’s almost as bad as re-posting. I mean, after all the poster took some time to make that edit and now you’re shamelessly promoting yourself even though you haven’t contributed to the process of making that edit at all? Sorry, but that is just rude and impudent.
I mean, there’s something I personally tolerate with my edits. That is for example taking some symbol and linking your url there (in the description) .. Don’t get me wrong. I DON’T LIKE it either. But I won’t judge you.
But for me it gets serious when you either repost a picture, change the source/click-through (lately changing the source hasn’t been possible anymore I think?) or post long paragraphs (or just a sentence) about how people should follow you or vote for you here and there right under someone’s picture. That’s just .. well, I’m repeating myself, but it’s rude. That’s just not okay.
That would be like taking someone’s exam and writing at the bottom “xxxx here, please give me a good mark too!” .. Because you want someone to give you a good grade even though you didn’t do anything for it - just like you want someone to follow you but you didn’t make that particular edit.

I need constant reassurance that people aren’t running away from me. I pick up false signals, signals that make me assume that someone is going to leave me. I freak out and push people away from me to prevent myself from getting hurt.
But what I do causes myself hurt anyway. I don’t know why I do it.
The existence of anti fan fics makes me lose hope for humanity, just a bit.
Like, REALLY? You hate this group/person/pairing so much that you have to invest your “creative” energies in concocting a plot specifically to vilify said group/person/pairing…???

I swear, if these antis actually put their anti-efforts into something productive, cancer would be cured, world hunger would be abolished, and we would have discovered another planet for humans to live on should the Earth become uninhabitable.
