Periodic Table of Super Elements!
Putting this back out there because… Ya know… I had some support from the tumblr crowd.
About one year ago I was in my classroom looking at the Periodic Table I had hanging. Needless to say I was not impressed with it. Lots of numbers and letters and nothing to smack me in the face and say I AM AN ELEMENT HEAR ME ROAR…
At that point I decided to undertake a project that I was determined to finish. Combining my love of super heroes with my love of science I created the Periodic Table of Super Elements.
Each element has been designed according to its characteristics or uses.
My goal was to create something that would grab the attention and generate excitement about the periodic table (not to say the old one isn’t exciting, but sometimes it’s hard to get a middle schooler excited about Osmium). It took me longer than I’d care to admit to finish this but I’m proud to say I am finally done!
