Kol and Bonnie partnering up would be perfect.
The episode showed that they both have a strong love for their family- even driving Bonnie to consider unleashing Silas, and having her powers spiral out of control for a moment. Kol was getting so emotional when Rebekah got the dagger out. I bet Kol might want Finn or Henrik back, but he knows the consequences.
They should be on the same side.
It would be the best plot ever.

Shipping aside, I think it would make for a great storyline for Bonnie. It would give her a chance to see the originals in a different light. Instead of them always wanting to create havoc and drink blood out of any human they see, she can see that Kol is truely scared of what Silas could do.
Kol wants the same thing as her, he wants to keep the world safe. Even though Kol’s methods are a bit more extreme then Bonnie’s that doesn’t mean he can’t be taught a different way. Overall, them working together would benefit them both. Kol can stop Silas from rising with Bonnie’s help, and Bonnie can prevent Kol from hurting Jeremy, Damon, Elena, etc.
So why can’t Julie see this amazing potential for a character building plot like we can?

They would make for an extremely powerful alliance- it’s actually logical. Bonnie and Kol actually want the same thing.
So, I’m hoping that this fact comes to light in 4x12 against the lockers. I’m hoping above all, that someone doesn’t come save Bonnie in that scene, because the alternatives reek of much more potential, plot-line and in general, just a more interesting scene, I think.
It would be great to see the shock between the two if Bonnie could take him down, or just simply watching her attempt to reason with him. Either way, it could make them realise that they would make an excellent team. I want Kol to question Bonnie’s moment of intrigue for Shane’s plan (her want for Grams to come back). Bonnie needs a team after all- otherwise she’ll be out of the race, out of screen time most likely, or worse, just at the beck and call of Elena, not able to give her opinion on the whole thing (just like how her opinion on Delena was silenced when they had that girls night. We all know that as much as Caroline may not ship Delena, Bonnie isn’t exactly Damon’s biggest fan, and she got no voice in that episode; not like it should have been)
And I agree completely! Ugh! It would be such a benefit for everyone. The main group would be shocked, and I’d love to see them understand that Bonnie is her own person! Plus, Kol seems to be the only sane Original (no sane person) in town when it comes to this cure. He simply doesn’t want the world to go to hell.
And yes. Kennett- my beautiful OTP. I’ll take them any way, but a plot-line for them like that would benefit both characters, otherwise Kol will be alone against both ‘alliances’ who are apparently after one episode going to join forces to take down Kol (I can’t even say how much I hate Elena for this)
Fanfics can’t even fix this for me. It should happen!
