EDIT: Catbug is not going to die! Your love saved him… somehow?

Well, it’s official. Catbug is going to die.

I’m Joey Comeau, part of the creative team behind the Bravest Warriors comic, and I’ve been fighting this decision behind the scenes for a couple weeks now. But in the end we have no choice.

We’ve been given the task of killing off Catbug, but we aren’t sure how best to handle it. There are legal reasons (I am told) that they can’t deal with it in the show itself, so we’ve been asked to write an explanation for his departure from the Bravest Warriors. But I know people love him, and I know this is a delicate situation, so I’m taking a vote!

Should Catbug die from:

1. Getting stepped on and squished?

2. Choking on a soft taco?

3. Betraying the Bravest Warriors and having to face their vengeance? or

4. Just inexplicably dying in his sleep while smiling?
