Alaskan MikePen is very well made all metal, refill is everything they claim it is. Get a lil piece of the space program of old with this pen. This is not the little bullet pen you see in the office supply places but a normal perhaps a little smaller in diameter pen suitable to carry in your shirt pocket.

This is my new favorite pen… It writes very nicely and is super awesome…
The only bad thing is what happens to me when someone asks to borrow it. I turn into Gollum (Lord of the Rings reference)… I actually refer to it as “my precious” sometimes…

A pen is a pen is a pen - or so some might tell you. This pen is different and if you enjoy writing with a quality pen that doesn’t skip, especially when writing vertically, then any of the Fisher pens that use the pressurized ink refill are good investments.
This particular pen is part nostalgia because of its use within America’s space program, granted. But, aside from the pressurized refill, the click and retract mechanism is unique. Press down to click the point out and begin writing. Depress the round ball on the side of the barrel’s top to retract it. The knurling along the body of the pen makes holding it both comfortable and secure. It’s all-metal and very well made.
If you appreciate good pens, then you may want to take the plunge and treat yourself to this particular model of Fisher pen.

I have had two of these pen’s for many years after some years the chrome on the clip started to flake off sent it off to fisher they replaced it free of charge also had a ink refill leak it also was replaced free.Great customer service.I have the AG7E and the AG7-11 Apollo Moon Landing.Solid brass with chrome plate and Made in U.S.A.

this is a nice quality pen. if its good enough for astronauts, its probably good enough for your (and my) usage. it writes smoothly and looks sharp. my only complaint is that i wanted the original/plain one, and somehow ended up with the apollo 11 engraved model. oh well, there are worse things in the world. the refills are readily available at most office supply store.
