Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies
I can actually make a cookie now! For some reason, I’ve never been able to make a good cookie and my last couple of attempts have had some surprisingly good results. I think it’s more likely due to the oven at my mom’s house which cooks food much more evenly than it did at my apartment. Whatever the cause, I made Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk cookies last night and they are deeeeeelicious.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies

What You’ll Need
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chunks OR about 1/4 bag of chocolate kisses
This is a pretty basic recipe, mix your wet ingredients and then your dry ingredients together. Combine. Eat a lot of the dough.
I chose to cut up chocolate kisses to use as chunks in my cookies and I think the work paid off.

(Yes, those are chocolate kisses from Christmas. Chocolate never expires, right?)
It was a bit tedious, but there’s something about a chocolate chunk that makes a cookie 10x better than using a chocolate chip.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. This recipe made about 20 cookies.
