Oh, I’m sure she’s a very lovely person. Unfortunately for all of us, that did not prevent her from writing and producing a teenage-girl-fanfiction-tier Dragon Age fan-film that shits all over some of the pretty explicitly outlined lore of the series. I mean, I can understand not caring about the Qunari or wanting to learn about the very complicated rules that govern their society, but if the main protagonist and antagonist of your series are both supposed to be Qunari, the least you could do is crack open the DA Wiki page on the subject.

This isn’t even some pedantic thing like “Oh well she misinterpreted this very crucial line on a piece of corrospondence hidden in a crate on the upper-west quadrant of the Wounded Coast that appears in the third act of the game only if Isabella is still a member of your team-” Her understanding of the world in the story she has chosen to write is so off the mark I have a hard time believing she’s ever even had the games explained to her over coffee. Or at least if she did, never got to the part where the mention any Qunari at all. And then for some reason decided she was going to write a story based around their society.
