Rebellion

The Tributes

Rebellion - The Tributes

Coal into fire, sparks into flames
Rising from ashes, winning all your games
Down with the Capitol, destruction and decay
You can’t force us into death if we refuse to play

The album is #3 on the iTunes electronic chart! Let’s get it to #1! :)

Run Away

The Tributes

Run Away - The Tributes

No way for them to find us
We’ll disappear, thought dead
No more bowing at their altar
of circuses and bread

You and I could do it
Run away and leave this all behind
I don’t want to lose you
Hunting partners are hard to find

Lyrics to ‘Mockingjay’, ‘Rebellion’, ‘Stay With Me’, & ‘Run Away’ under the cut! They might be slightly different from the album versions but these are the final ones I wrote and they should be pretty close

The mix of Joey Graceffa’s voice with Luke Conard’s is just… it’s surreal… and their songs are awesome… the lyrics are amazing… Whitney Milam should write more music…

“Raise the Nightlock Spark a war Mockingjay cried That's resistance at your door”

Joey Graceffa and Luke Conard and some nice lady… not sure exactly who, but this song is awesome. :P

Fireballs and cameras

give them a good show

Children wielding weapons

deal the final blows

All that’s left is the eyes

in twisted muttations risen from the dead

Born to kill, bred to die

And they all bleed the same shade of red

Leave flowers at the gravesite

When all is said and done

This game’s been played before

Seventy-three times won

Some of the original lyrics from Arena from Panem’s best, by Whitney Milam.

Just Beautiful.

THE ARENA THE ARENA THIS IS OUR WORLDS STAGE.

please excuse me while I have THG feels

Okay so the Arena music video is SO FREAKING GOOD but (okay I’m probably really weird for this) when I read The Hunger Games I understood the implications of young children/teens killing each other and fighting to the death and the brutality of the careers and how most of the tributes didn’t really want to be there and were scared and just trying to survive but I never really understood it, you know? But seeing it made into something real (even if it was only a music video) I don’t know, I guess it just makes it more real to me and I kind of feel it more. And when I see the movie I will (other than for the obvious reasons) have a major feels attack because I will actually SEE the horribleness that is the Games.

Also, I love Joey as spoof!Gale but he also portrays Cato’s brutality immaculately. I was very impressed to say the least.

Starsze posty...
