All you ever wanted to know about pallet wood

funkyjunkinteriors.blogspot.com

I was reminded about this by one of my followers recently (message me for credit because I am sorry I forgot) when I posted that pallete being made into a vertical balcony garden. You always have to be careful as to how wood was treated when you are repurposing it, especially for an edible garden. Check out this article my Funky Junk interiors for a quick guide to what wood to take and when to leave it. There is also more over at Wikipedia about heat vs. chemically treated ones. Stay safe folks :)

oh what a day

It’s a day like any other. I left for work early in the morning, left work early, and squeezed into a cute outfit as soon as I could get home. I like to look cute when I’m not obligated to wear my oversized frumpy black t shirt and khakis. Mocha’s trying to run into the house when she thinks no one’s looking. She’s a very confused kitty. Dan, Lo, and I are off to Payette to fetch a truck with which to move pallets and such with. We’re probably the only group of friends without that friend who we only use for their truck (which is pretty unfortunate right now). When I get back I get to go back to work at my other job. Thennnn probably hanging out with a really cool person.

P.S. having couches outside is probably the most terrible idea ever especially on such inconsistent weather but we’re going to attempt to do it anyway.
