Portable Software!!!
So here are softwares I downloaded either required for my course or simply because I just got them. I’m only reuploading these because their original links (where I got ‘em) are no longer available.
I use all of these so it’s sure they’re 100% working. If you don’t like torrents, I have direct download .rar files. Simply extract to your Desktop or USB and you’re good to go. Windows only. I use 32bit system so most of these work on both 32 and 64bit (because I have a friend who uses 64bit and she gets her software from me).
I uploaded each in mirror so they’re hosted in many services (thus clicking the links will give you a list of download links from many file-hosting sites) and at least I won’t have to worry about broken links in the coming months. Still, message me (off anon so I’ll reply privately) if there may be some problem. And also if you’re kind enough, maybe you can help by adding more mirror links like in your own MediaFire account or similar sites and submit to me so I can add it in the list.
Adobe After Effects
- CS4 (307MB) - [EmUp]
It takes a while load. If a dialog box appears that says something like “unicode error” or “failed to parse…” simply press “Ctrl + Alt + Enter” and keep pressing until the dialog box disappears.
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
- CS5 (254MB) - [DiMi]
Adobe Photoshop
The CS6 may not open right away and sometimes detected as virus, so just make the settings in your anti-virus allow the portable to run. Also if double-clicking won’t open it right away, try to right click and “run as administrator” and click “yes/continue”.
Paint Tool SAI
The list will be updated when a new link/software is available.

Adobe Systems Incorporated: Eliminate the mandatory "creative cloud" subscription model.
change.orgDevelopment of Adobe Creative Suite 7, and all plans of future creative suites have been discontinued. The only option going forward will be the Creative Cloud (CC) subscription model.
You should support this petition because Adobe is making their already expensive products even more expensive in the long run. Adobe is robbing small business, freelancers, and the average consumer. They do not seem to understand that every company is a not multi-national, multi-billion dollar corporation that has an infinite amount of resources.
In the end it comes down to this: Adobe’s consumers will not be able to make such a large payment every month on the CC subscription model. In the short term, the subscription model looks to be okay, but over time the only entity that is benefiting from this is Adobe. The (no longer) current model: paying a one time fee for infinite access is a much better business model and is better for the consumer.
Let’s make a difference and stand up to Adobe and let them know our stance. We want our voices heard.
Guys, this is actually a pretty serious issue. If you are a digital artist, no matter what software you actually use, should take this in to consideration. Adobe is and will be the business standard software for concept artists, graphic designers, illustrators, comic artists, animators and all other fields that need Adobe’s products in their work.
The economic future for the aspiring digital artist might become even more hard to achieve if we don’t do something about this. So please sign this. Even if you never use photoshop. We all know that most art programs are influenced by Adobe’s products, if adobe start using this marketing model there might be a chance that the other software developers follow the same path. So yes this matters for all of us who work digitally. (<—-this is, by the way, just my own theory. Do NOT take this as a fact or a solid statement.)
