I’ve only been human for a little bit, so I don’t really have anything affecting me right now. I know the basics, though. I’ve had a… vested interest in the ins and outs of being human for quite some time!

How does each curse affect a person? Is there a reason why they are chosen to be cursed?

Curses happen at random when a child is born, and don’t present symptoms until they’re five or six. There are four elements; earth, wind, water, and fire. The illnesses transform the soft tissues of the body into the specific element. Earth Curses have a form of elephantitis with oversized limbs and limited mobility. Wind Curses are evaporating and are very thin. Water Curses are flooding and sweat, cry, drool, and leak from everywhere all the time. Fire Curses run a constant fever, and develop burns and open sores on their skin.
