And Chris Crosby has never been anything but a gentleman to me. He is cheerful, friendly, supportive and kind. Though he’s had his shares of fracases, one never gets the feeling he takes them personally.

And yet.

This is technically last Friday’s Sore Thumbs. I honestly have no idea what its schedule is any more. Nor do I need to know. Nor do I think they much care. Heck, Owen Gieni’s got himself an Image Comics gig drawing the relaunch of Rob Liefield’s Avengelyne, so I know they’re busy.

The heavyset guy in the tie with the smug expression is the formerly rail thin Fairbanks, a completely insane parody of right wing extremists. The buxom pink haired woman with the huge eyes is Cecania, a completely insane parody of left wing extremists, and Fairbanks’s sister. The older fellow with the maniacal grin is Horus, a completely insane parody of human existence who is the father of the two.

Which is the crux of the matter. Horus is the father of Fairbanks and Cecania. And while he might not know that this is his children on the radio show, it’s worth noting the show is named after Fairbanks.

So… just for the record, I have a short message for Chris Crosby.
