spock is used to leonard calling jim sweetheart/darlin’ etc but the first time he hears leonard calling /him/ baby so casually he feels like his heart is going to burst out of his chest and he exchanges a glance with jim and just raises an eyebrow but jim is grinning from ear to ear and he can feel him thinking “yeah, i know, it makes me feel like that too” (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧彡
