에코이스트(Ecoist)는 2004년에 설립된, 사탕 봉지나 알루미늄 캔 등을 재활용 해서 핸드백·파우치 등을 만드는 기업입니다. 에코이스트는 은색 사탕 봉지의 질감이나 상표가 드러난 초콜렛 포장용지·음료수 캔 등의 디자인을 살려서 제품을 제작합니다. 페루 현지에 지사를 세우고 현지 장인을 고용해 공정무역을 실천하고 핸드백이 하나 팔릴 때마다 나무 한 그루를 심는 등, 재활용 외의 분야에서도 지속 가능한 사회를 만들기 위한 노력을 하고 있습니다.

D.R.Z(Demontage- und Recycling-Zentrum)는 2003년부터 활동을 시작한 오스트리아의 전자 제품 해체 및 재활용 기관입니다. D.R.Z에서 수거된 못쓰는 전자 제품을 재활용 할 수 있도록 분리하고 해체한 후에 제품 제작 및 디자인 담당 부서 T.D.M(Trash Design Manufaktur)로 보냅니다. T.D.M에서는 해체된 전자제품으로 액세서리·가구·장식품 등을 만듭니다. D.R.Z에서는 장기 실업자와 장애인 등을 고용해 일자리 창출 효과도 내고 있습니다.

So recently I saw this video on youtube about dying your hair with CHALK! I know right, at first I thought it was just some stupid scam but I saw a few videos and it actually works! It’s just a temporary though, it’ll last about 1-2 days. I was pretty surprised though. They use a type of chalk called “soft pastel chalk”. It’s different from normal chalk and oil pastels. After watching some dip videos I am really inspired to try it. Gunna head down to the shops on the weekend and find this type of chalk. The only problem is I’m asian. I have dark brown hair, but under the sun its quite brown and full of different shades of brown streaks. Dip dyes don’t really go well with dark hair. It’s depressing why can’t I have light brown or blonde hair :( So I need reccomendations on colours. I’ll try it out. Usually in the pastel chalk set there the basic colours like blue, yellow, green, red, pink, white, purple… etc depending how big the set is. I was leaning more toward the “blue, green and purple”. I really just hope it works!! Fingers crossed :D
