However, the man behind Stan is Seth Macfarlane

Seth is a writer. He’s a democrat and has donated over $200,000 to the democratic party and Barack Obama’s presidential campaign.

He won the Harvard Humanist of the Year award in 2011 for his support of Equal Rights for the LGBTQ community.

Just like Stan Smith, Seth’s jokes are a character. They’re not him. So simply because he made a joke “sexualizing a nine year old” (which holy shit that is a reach he was insulting George Clooney get your head out of your ass) doesn’t mean he’s a sexist pedophile with no respect for women. He’s a comedy writer. He works to entertain.

Part of the humor is realizing he’s also making fun of his characters.

So don’t take a personal stance against him because he takes a different approach to comedy.
