Does anyone know anything about being an optometric assistant?

From what I read online, it doesn’t sound half bad, so I’m sending a resume but I’m kind of nervous about the prospect of actually getting hired.

But at the same time I could very likely not get hired considering I have zero job experience.

But I did really well in school, I say to myself, convinced that my grade point average should be proof of my work ethic.
