McFly’s Tom Fletcher has written the official song for the London 2012 mascots.
The singer has recorded new track ‘On A Rainbow’, which tells the story of Olympic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville’s journey to the London 2012 games.
Fletcher explained: “This is an amazing opportunity and it’s something I’m very proud to be involved in.

This song was played at the Olympics during half time in a hockey match. It was written by Tom Fletcher and is the Official London 2012 Olympic Games Mascot Song. Its sung by Tom Fletcher and Carrie H. Fletcher. Its a really happy song, but I think they should play it more often/made it more well know because its just such a great song, and Carrie should do more singing.
