Edinburgh
Yesterday, for the first time that I can remember (I may have been as a child), I went to Edinburgh. I was only there for around six hours, but that was enough to enjoy the Royal Mile, which was a very nice walk, and to visit Camera Obscura.

I can say with all honesty that it was one of the greatest tourist places i’ve been to, with many optical illusions, such as the one you can see above. However, the main event there is the camera obscura, which allows you to see the whole of Edinburgh from one single camera. Amazing stuff. Check it out if you can.
I also ticked one off my ‘50 Things to Do Before I Die’ checklist and had a deep-fried Mars bar. It was surprisingly pleasant, if a bit difficult to finish. Whilst I wouldn’t recommend it to people, I certainly wouldn’t put you off.
So… yes… my summary of Edinburgh: Camera Obscura; deep-fried Mars Bar.
