you guys took sonia away from me　

apparently I had an ant bite on my finger but I never noticed it til now ‘coz I never take my ring off.

it’s 6 in the morning, and even though I slept all day yesterday, I’m tired. maybe it’s just all the thinking. 

tomorrow (today?) is june 3, and the day after that is june 4, and it’ll be me and o’s 6 months. I know he wanted to come up here, but I convinced him not to because we really shouldn’t be spending the money. it’s times like these I had a car (soon!) and more lenient parents (never), so maybe I could go down and visit him instead. it seems like the same thing, but it really isn’t, because houston is fun for cheap, and we could stay at his place instead of getting a hotel, since my mom is crazy and won’t let anyone, even my best friend of 7 years, into the house, but his parents let me stay in his house (in his room even! with the door closed?! what is this double standard for guy and girl children. like, it’s ok for your son to impregnate someone, but not ok for your daughter to be impregnated? how would you feel if your daughter’s boyfriend’s parents employed the same policy when your daughter spent the night?). anyway. </tangent>

I really wish we lived in the same city, or at least like only an hour or so apart, so we could see each other more before tension or misunderstandings build up. it frustrates me that I can’t simply walk or bike or drive over on a whim or if we’re fighting and I want to talk to him face to face. 

I know distance shouldn’t be an issue or should make the time you do see each other that more valuable or whatever according to all those “love knows no distance!” etc quotes, but it really does make things easier. the physical presence of someone there backs up the “I’m here for you even if we’re fighting!” sentiment and makes it seem more real, instead of just wondering what they’re doing when you’re not on skype together or they go radio silent on you for a few hours. also the fights happen less because you’re forced to face the issue instead of simply hitting a button to hang up on them or not answering texts. it’s much harder to walk away from the someone you love when you’re facing them in person. 

ok I don’t even know where this post was going. I’m just tired, I have work to do, I miss my boyfriend, and I wish I could see him on our 6 months. 

4 weeks til my driving test, 5 weeks til I’m back in austin. it seems so far away.
