Reviewing This Past Week...

So I take it the Big Bad Bollocks show went as good as usual. Every St. Patty’s Day show they put on is superb. Here’s the bands’ frontman John Allen struggling to get the microphone off the stand. A wonderful photo by Angela Hebert Richards.

The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told PVPA presents gay-positive biblical comedy (protesters) 3.17.13 —- the protest the day before was a lot more exciting. This one sadly was subdued yet interesting. Video coming soon.

McLadden’s Irish Publick House almost ready to open. I heard they had a quasi-grand opening on St. Patty’s Day but will re-open again sometime soon. That is a more official grand opening.

Building A Life - ServiceNet Inc

A Comprehensive Approach to Healing Mental Illness. This is a video I worked on for film director Mari Gottdiener. She asked me to videotape some footage on the bike path and at a ServiceNet group home in Easthampton, MA. This was originally on Google Video but, hey, where’s GV now? Everything has been removed due to the upgrades of YouTube (uploading longer videos in better quality) and the rarely used Vimeo for professional filmmakers. Here it is on my new YouTube channel. It’s pretty long so don’t be afraid to watch bits and pieces of it if you can. Also, my song “Stay Awake,” from the CD Inducing The World With Low-Fi, is played at the end.
