Giving families basic necessities that they don’t have is my #1 priority.  Food, hygiene and cleaning supplies isn’t a luxury it’s something everyone should have.  Especially people that are trying to make it.

We contact local schools and inquire about needs and the school passes on specific needs that we fill.  Sometimes the free meals that some students get at school is the only food they eat during the week, sometimes at all.

Once we become “official” we can accept donations and we can grow bigger taking this nationwide. We will be able to provide jobs for people willing to work, able to pass a background check and with good references.

I NEED YOUR SUPPORT by liking our page and telling your friends about this so we can put an end to hungry nights.

We also network with other organizations and fill needs that they have as well.  We need to help each other that’s what it’s all about.

I need all the help I can get…

Italian Non Profit Reporting Regulations

Laws!

Shortly I will be meeting with a lawyer to understand the non-profit reporting regulations in Italy better.  A very complicated system indeed!  It appears reporting is very minimal and highly convoluted.  Furthermore many people tell me that regardless of the rules in place, reporting is either uncommon or uncontrolled.  I wonder if the regulatory system in Italy impacts the cultural operations of an organization.

Here’s what I want to know:

  • What are the relevant regulations on the non-profit cultural sector?
  • What must a non-profit report, in particular financial information?
  • Is this information public and where can it be found?
  • Are there big differences between cultural non-profits and other non-profits?  If so, what?
  • For the rules that are in place, are there many controls?  Is reporting common or uncommon?
  • Can the non-profit cultural sector in Italy be abused to earn money without pay taxes or other black market activities?

40 Effectively Designed Non-Profit and Charity Web Sites

via speckyboy.com

A charity or cause may not need the sleek sales pages of a business on the web, but a poorly designed one could still mean the difference between helping people or failing to do so. Therefore, a non profit website design should be appealing enough to invite the organization’s targeted donors and volunteers.

I’ve decided that I really want to volunteer somewhere this summer. Preferably something that takes a couple of weeks, not just a few days project. Anyone know anything good?

Making MOVES & Standing STILL @ the same time

Morning Peeps,

Its ya boy BiGG MiCC! Back at it like I never left. Hold onto your seats, because I’m about to give you a quick update on the happenins of this journey!

God works in mysterious ways! I’ve learned to truly appreciate this fact as I trekk along on this journey. My ultimate goal is to be a servant of God and a friend to man. So as many of you know, we lost the bus early November. God revealed to me why we lost the bus. It was for two reasons - firstly, I didn’t ask God for His presence before deciding on the bus and secondly, because God had a better and bigger idea for this ministry! Even though there is no bus as yet, and amid my anxiety, God continues to speak to me.

I’m scheduled to preach at my church on March 31, 2012. God has told me to focus on the sermon. When the ministry starts, there will be no time to spend on this sermon. I want this sermon to truly be different and touch the lives of many. I want people to leave thinking -  what am I working towards? Do I really live a Christian life? However, that ONLY starts with me being able to live a life pleasing to God so I can be an instrument for this sermon.

In any case, this week is shaping up to be pretty busy. Keep posted!

Stay Blessed- BiGG MiCC.
