A letter to someone;
To say this will be easy would be a lie. To say that I could move on like if nothing happened is a fallacy. Truth is that you mean deeply to me. Truth is that I feel like a portion of my heart has forever been lost. Yes, I know you’re still out there and that one day we may meet again, but I was starting to get comfortable growing with you. You are thousands of miles of away and yet I feel closer to you than I do with most people that are mere inches away. And now that we have to go our separate ways, my heart is tearing apart, even though I said it wouldn’t, even though I said it was for the best, even though we took our bow amicably. Throughout our relationship I often questioned why Life must be so cruel placing two intertwined hearts so far from one another, but now that our intertwined hearts have been severed with our own hands I have realized that Life has been relentlessly kind to us, uniting us despite all odds and obstacles. And knowing that makes it a little bit harder to move on, but I will try my very best.
