This fucking thing isn’t even the cute kind of ugly…

and you have a character you REALLY like, and you just love getting them to do stuff but at the same time you are really cautious with them because you don’t want them to die? (Since death is permanent in Sacred Stones)

I still remember this one time, I was playing Sacred Stones, and I thought Vanessa the Pegasus Knight was a total boss because I used her for rescue all the time, plus she owned and could chase down anyone due to the fact she flew on a pegasus and was a knight… 

I sent her into battle and she was kicking ass and I was getting really cocky. Then I foolishly put her within range of enemy bowmen (Bowmen can kill Pegasus knights extremely easily) and too late, I realised what the outcome would be… death for Vanessa… sure enough, she died and I hated myself for like, the whole game. Even when it got to the point in the story where Tana, another Pegasus knight shows up, I was happy that I had a Pegasus knight again, but it just wasn’t the same and I still hated myself for getting Vanessa killed.

I was so careful with all my characters… despite this, I still had a few casualties. I still remember when I nearly got Joshua killed and was like “YOU CAN TAKE MY PEGASUS KNIGHT BUT YOU WILL NOT KILL MY MYRMIDON!”

Good game though… it hurts so much when you get people killed though…
