2. One of the dudes on my floor, upon realizing I walk in the dark to my appointment each week, said that the dudes on my floor would all be more than willing to walk me there until it gets much lighter. I’m not sure if I’ll actually take them up on that offer, but it’s still so nice.

okay i’m probably just being a history buff douche-king. but chivalry did no die in the 80’s.
chivalry died in the fuck 18th century when the americans started having infantry kill officers and attacking the british from the woods.
the word chivalry is an old war term and it basically means the rules of who you can and can not stick with a sword.
and for the life of me, i have no idea how that can mean the same as “is a nice dude”
but again i’m probably just a douche nerd.
