On Becoming Mrs. Huerta Caru
Soooooo, I kind of just got engaged to the love of my life.
Woah. Who would have thought that the lost child who started out on this journey to see the world would end up loving like she never knew possible, being loved like she’s never known, AND get to share the experience with so many amazing people along the way. Words can’t even begin to describe….
The gratitude I feel right now is overwhelming. All the love in the universe currently resides in my heart, and is simultaneously being multiplied back out to the cosmos x10000000000000000000.
I’m only attempting to put this into words because I want to remember it forever and ever.

Wedding: stage 1
So, a little about me. I am 20 years old and am engaged. Many think this is pretty young, but we have been together for 5 years and I love him more than any one has ever loved another person.
Regardless, I am a complete newb to planning weddings. I know nothing…so, maybe someone will wind up here and this will help them. I am gonna blog about the different stage of planning wedding.
So, currently I am a little over a year from the wedding, so I am in stage one. And this is what I have been doing:
-Spending countless hours browsing pinterst and tumblr so that I develop and understand exactly what I like and what I want.
- I made and sent out my bridesmaids gifts. Most of them already knew they would be asked, but these things need to be formally asked. So I did and it was darling.
-I have toured venues and chosen the one I wanted and put a deposit down to save that date. Everything else can come after you chose a place. The venue is the backdrop that everything else will be painted on.
-I am still working on my budget with my parents and my wedding planner. This is an awkward, but important step.
That’s pretty much it. I have been living in Dublin, Ireland and I am from California, so I haven’t been able to do much but brain storm! But I will keep posting about what I have been up to in planning.
