Nectar Search Toolbar | Collect Points for Searching Online

nectar.com

This is great, collect 50 points every time you install the nectar toolbar on a computer and then 1 point for every two searches you make using the nectar toolbar. Why would you want to use Google ever again when you can get points and ultimately make money for searching with nectar? After all, searching the net is something that we all do everyday!

Go on, switch from Google to Nectar today, I just bagged myself 250 points by making the switch.

If you only have one computer, virtual machines are a great way to rack up the points. VirtualBox is a free, java based virtual PC environment, for Mac, Linux and Windows. Why not grab yourself a free Ubuntu ISO image and create your first VM? It’s like running Linux inside your current operating system - Great if you’ve never heard of or seen Linux, or just want to know what it’s like without affecting your current system.

The Nectar toolbar only works with Firefox or Internet Explorer. Ubuntu comes with Firefox already installed. Let’s say you have a Windows Vista or 7 computer and you install the toolbar, you will have gained 50 points for activating the toolbar against your nectar card number. If you then set up a VM and install the toolbar in Firefox, you’ll gain another 50 points because Nectar treats each VM as a separate computer. Even if your not going to use the VM to search, you will still have gained 50 points for the activation. It’s got to be worth it hasn’t it? I have four VMs plus my main computer so that’s five installations. I’m already half way to my next £2.50!
