Winter issue released!

Dear F/friends,
As of last Saturday, the winter issue is released to the public. This season, the Friendly Naturalist features witty letters, delicious cold-weather recipes, lovely photography and fantastic poetry by local writers and creative folk. Pick up your copy in the New Garden Friends’ Meeting foyer, or the front desk at Kathleen Clay Edwards Library off of New Garden Road. More locations are coming soon, so watch this space!
Now that the Winter Issue is done, our thoughts turn to next spring. If you have any suggestions or would like to submit a piece (we love new faces!), email us at FriendlyNaturalist@gmail.com or provide your contact information in our ask box. If you have any wintry thoughts or media you would like to share, we encouraged you to submit to our blog or to Facebook.com/thefriendlynaturalist.
Hope to see you soon!

“Call me when it's published in NATURE.”

—something I just read on a reblog that made me die of laughter.

“You are not recording the Universe as you know it. You are merely trying to capture one small nugget of a golden day, a memento that you can take out to examine later on a day that may not be as bright. You will be glad you did.”
