TD Tom Davies Natural Horn Launched at Vision Expo East
Luxury eyewear label TD Tom Davies launches TD Tom Davies Natural Horn, a new innovative product range by the British bespoke eyewear designer. The launch represents a significant addition to the existing offering in acetate and titanium, breaking the boundaries of horn eyewear production, and creating an outstanding opportunity for opticians to offer made-to-order natural horn spectacles using a completely new concept for their design and creation.
The service will be offered through a new Couture Service for horn, modeled on the existing Tom Davies Couture Service for individually designed frames in acetate or titanium. A new area has been dedicated to the buffalo horn service at www.tdtomdavies.com
Tom Davies, CEO, commented: “The launch of TD Tom Davies Natural Horn takes natural horn eyewear to a whole new level. We are very proud to be able to offer a Couture Service exclusively for the natural horn line, and we believe our unique expertise in bespoke spectacle production will set us apart. “Light, strong and hypoallergenic, buffalo horn is a traditional frame material that is perfectly suited to our highly-regarded luxury frame service. We are already drawing huge interest, and have a waiting list of opticians for the horn line.”
“Opticians will be able to purchase our TD Tom Davies natural horn sheets in a unique kit,” explains Davies. “This means the customer gets to select the material for their frame themselves. Each frame will be delivered in a personalized box with a name plate, made from parts of the horn sheet, and engraved with the customer’s name. Other parts of the sheet from which the frame is cut can be used to produce handcrafted matching cufflinks. It’s a whole new concept, and I believe it’s a very exciting offer for opticians who wish to specialize in horn.”
