Winter Weather Projections for 2011 - 2012 in Oakville

The Weather Network just released an updated long term winter forecast. Since it is a La Niña year, world weather will be uneven which means some parts will see worse average weather while others will benefit.
In the case of the G.T.A. it seems we can expect a bit milder of a winter based on this forecast with average precipitation.
The only issue could be more higher wind days. Hopefully nothing like we have just witnessed in Calgary!

All I can think of is how grateful I am this wasn't another Virginia Tech situation, and how sorry I am for everyone involved. What sad, scary situation. God bless.

National News: Roster for the friendly against France

Here’s the last German national team roster this year for the match against France on November 29.

  • 7 out of those 23 players play for FFC Frankfurt and make up 30.5% of the whole roster
  • Due to injuries two FFC players will have to miss the game: After she broke her nose, Kim Kulig was replaced with Nadine Keßler. Dzsenifer Marozsan will also miss the game due to an adductor strain. It seems that since five forwards are enough, there won’t be a replacement for her

Watch Video: FOX’s Bill O’Reilly SHANGHAIED

During Thursday‘s O’Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly shared his reaction to last night’s run-in with a D.C. Occupier. The man, who rushed towards O’Reilly repeatedly asked the Fox host whether he had attended a fundraiser for now-Republican frontrunner Newt Gingrich.

Warren Buffett: We raised the debt ceiling seven times during the Bush administration. Now in this administration they are using it as a hostage. You don't have any business by playing russian roulette to get your way in some other matter. We should be more grown up than that.

In an interview with CNBC, Warren Buffett, the Oracle of Omaha and one of the world’s wealthiest men, took sharp shots at politicians in Washington negotiating over raising the debt ceiling. Buffett said if the debt ceiling isn’t raised, the U.S. would default on its debt and that is unprecedented and we simply don’t know how that would turn out. That’s why he compared the situation to a game of russian roulette. He said five times out of six everything would be fine but that one bullet could do a ton of damage. Playing, he said, is “silly.”

“We raised the debt ceiling seven times during the Bush administration” he said. “Now in this administration they are using it as a hostage. You don’t have any business by playing russian roulette to get your way in some other matter. We should be more grown up than that.”

Buffett said Congress is playing with “fire when you shouldn’t be playing with fire.” He said corporate America should be telling Congress, “shame on all of you.” And said that Republicans and Democrats are both to blame. There is “enough blame to go around.”
